Ready to take your training to the next level?
Welcome to the DanceEmotion Academy. We are a state-recognized vocational school that offers a 2 year professional dance education in Hip Hop Pedagogy.
The professional training Hip Hop Pedagogy is a new and in this form unique training course. A comprehensive, cross-style dance education is important to us. Hip Hop, House Dance, Locking, Popping and Breakdance are the main focus, in addition to Afro House, LA Style, Experimental and Dancehall as side subjects. We also teach our students once a week in ballet, contemporary and jazz in order to give them a larger movement repertoire and general movement qualities. The trainees also receive instruction in the theoretical subjects of pedagogy, anatomy, music theory and dance history. Internships up to independent teaching (teaching rehearsals) are just as much part of the pedagogical training as the development of choreographies and assistance with rehearsals and performances. The trainees gain practical experience through regular participation in dance productions at the hobby dance school DanceEmotion Studio and in cooperation with our companies. Lessons from guest educators and guest choreographers supplement the regular timetable and expand the field of vision for other styles.
